Week 8

  Note:  Computer crashed so was not able to be online for two weeks due to save money to repair the computer and for the repair company to fix my computer. 

   Having a Social Media presence is essential for a company. It helps to connect with its customers. For my post for week 8 I did researched local crystal shops around Vista City. Having a strong social media presence is good since you can repost and like a page then others know what that person liked. It can boost their business and they are able to get new customers that know about the company by social media.

  For a shop that sells crystals, essential oils and yoga gear it is called Earth’s Elements. They have an engaging social media presence. For their Instagram account they post their products and also fun quotes from time to time. On their Facebook Page they post the same but they also post events for example they posted an event that happened on the 10th of october thats a Cristel Healing Event. On their twitter account they post holiday tweets and post new store opening but they don’t use twitter since there last post was on January 22nd 2018.
  This company has a very strong social media presence and it engages with its followers especially on instagram. They archive stories and when they add stories they have an interactive post like a voting system.

  Gemstone Gallery is a crystal store located in Escondido. It is a small business that sells gemstones and gem based jewelry. Their social media presence is pretty small and on their website their social media page links don't work. I found their facebook page and their last post was an introduction about their business and it was posted back in June 7th 2017. They have a Pinterest account and they only have one pin of a picture of a Lapis Lazuli stone. 
  For this company they don't have a strong social media presence and it look like it will hurt them since they don’t have manny people who follows them.

  Beads Crystal and more is a small, family own company that sells gemstone jewelry, trade and sells antiques and sells crystals. They have a strong social media presence and has accounts on almost all major platforms. Their Instagram page post updates and funny MEME post. They have a Youtube channel and has a bio video about the owner. Their Facebook page is up to date with current events in the company. They post up dates and events especially involving children. They have a twitter account but sadly they don’t use this. They have a account but they don’t use it. They only have retweets of costumers and maybe workers. Same goes with their Pinterest Account they only have three pins of a clear quartz and other crystals.

 SoulScape is a small crystal store that is located in Encinitas CA. They sell and trade crystals, music and spiritual books. They have a active social media presence. Their facebook page is active and they post sales and updates about the company. Same goes with there Instagram page. They have a Pinterest page and post frequently and repost pictures of crystals.

Week 17 Final Post

     What my experience  for this class is that I learned a lot during this very hectic semester. I learn how to run a social media page for a company and how much studying and training goes into when running a business social media page. I get to see the cool side on running a few. For example I learn what google analytics was and it opened something new. I learned what parts of a bushiness page is important for a audience. Like a YouTube page or a twitter page that has fun jokes like this Tweet .    I wasn't that interactive since I had problems with work. Other classmates had a great ideas for their fictional and non fictional business. My favorite Company was Rebel Rose Designs . The site has good deals and it comes in cute packages. Week 3 Part 1

    Have you ever experienced difficulty communicating with a business?     No I usually communicate with business on email sites mostly on Google’s gmail. For freelance design jobs I communicate with clients on email. At a few occasions I communicate in direct message on Instagram. The times I have difficulty with a business is that they reply vague replies for designs they want like “Get creative on the logo” They want something for their buisness and they don't even know what they want. I also don’t hear from them for a week, one time not at all only a few months latter after I scrapped their project. Does social media make it easier to get noticed or get your problem solved?    Depends on the problem and what to get noticed for.
