Week 6 Facebook Business page

The difference to post engagement and post reach are how people interact with a Facebook Page. For example when a person makes a business Facebook page they will have a little bar that says how many people liked their page or viewed their page. This is a example of post reach. Post Engagement is when people interact with a page. People will write reviews, like photos and comment on posts.
The importance of knowing the differences of each term is how we understand how to build a community in a Facebook page. The page will help the business be a part of a community. Like the website Bricklink.com sell specific parts to customers who like Lego. For my business Capstone Crystal it will be part of the Yoga and Crystal collector community. When people visit and like the page is post reach, they see something they like and may or may not engage with the post. When they like and comment on posts of the page that is post engagement and that is good for the business. When people engage with the page they are being absorbed into the community they are selling and promoting to.
How a business will benefit this is that word will spread by people reposing photos or post about the page. People who buy the items on sale will talk about it or make YouTube reviews on the item. Like this Youtube video of a toy review. If a business has a strong social media presence they will attract people who never heard about the business or learn from it by word of mouth.
